Holding Events in Hangars

If you are a Falcon Field ground lease holder/business and plan to hold an event in your hangar or facility, airport staff can help you through the simple event approval process. A minimum two weeks’ advance notice to the airport is required, and an event fire inspection will be scheduled to ensure the safety of the event and the airport. For safety reasons, events are not allowed in City-owned T-hangars.

Turkey Tuesday

The aviation community is invited to help the United Food Bank in its efforts to feed Mesa residents this holiday season! Bring your donations of frozen turkeys, canned food and other non-perishable foods to Falcon Field Airport, and airport staff will deliver them to the donation center hosted by the City of Mesa Engineering Department. Bring your donations to: Falcon Field Airport Terminal Building 4800 E. Falcon Drive Tuesday, Nov. 19 Drop your donations off between 7-11 a.m.

Falcon Field Airport is seeking proposals from developers and developer teams to lease and develop approximately 63.58 acres of City-owned land known as the Falcon Tech Center. The successful respondent will develop, market, and manage a first-class business/commercial development.

Community Blood Drive

The Civil Air Patrol (CAP) will host a blood donation event at Falcon Field Airport 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, November 2 to help the American Red Cross with urgent blood shortages. The event will be held at the Civil Air Patrol building, 4730 E. Falcon Drive.

Airport Infrastructure Improvements

Falcon Field Airport has received a $3,767,638 grant from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) through the Airport Improvement Program. This grant is allocated for the construction of the East Mid-Field Crossover Taxiway and realignment of Taxiways D7 and D8.
